The documentation supported refurbishment and remodelling works aligned with brand property improvement plans, enabling design and procurement teams to proceed with confidence.
The Challenge
All properties were fully operational during capture.
Challenges included:
- Coordinating access to guest rooms across live hotel environments
- Managing phased access to occupied and vacant rooms
- Minimising disruption to hotel operations
- Ensuring full coverage across large-scale properties
- Avoiding the need for return visits or re-scanning
Each site required careful planning with ownership and on-site management to align scanning activity with operational realities.

Approach
Site work was scheduled to minimise disruption and avoid loss of business.
Room access was coordinated in phases, scanning vacant rooms first and returning at agreed times for occupied rooms.
Each property was completed within 2–3 days on site.
Outcome
Accurate, structured documentation enabled design and architectural teams to proceed with renovation works without re-verifying existing conditions.
The models supported procurement, planning and long-term building management while reducing project risk across multiple hotel locations.
